Interaction between electric field and plasma in inductively coupled discharges

چکیده

In regard to collisionless heating in inductively coupled discharges, two approaches have been widely adopted describe the energy transfer between electrons and radio frequency field. One approach is based on consistent kinetic theory, by which resulting field can be expressed as superposition of a series plane waves resonant interactions happen each wave, might dominate heating. Another single-particle approach, assumes that electric approximated spatially exponential function. The gained then obtained analytically, effective occurs due nonresonant transit time damping. Although demonstrated equivalence some parameter regimes, it still unclear how unite physical picture models. this work, test particle simulations conducted show interact with function sum waves. It found an function, interaction weak dominant, so Vahedi’s model good enough interaction. When imaginary part surface impedance becomes important, cannot well shown dominates power dissipation

Electron energy distributions and anomalous skin depth effects in high-plasma-density inductively coupled discharges.

Electron transport in low pressure (<10s mTorr), moderate frequency (<10s MHz) inductively coupled plasmas (ICPs) displays a variety of nonequilibrium characteristics due to their operation in a regime where the mean free paths of electrons are significant fractions of the cell dimensions and the skin depth is anomalous. Proper analysis of transport for these conditions requires a kinetic appro...

Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma

Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) is one of the most successful direct solid sampling techniques for major, minor and trace element analysis. However, this technique still suffers from matrix dependent ablation characteristics, which makes quantification very difficult. Furthermore, the laser sampled material alters its composition from the sample to the de...

Inductively coupled probe for the measurement of partial discharges.

Partial discharges are a transient phenomena whose measurement is remarkably important for electrical equipment diagnosis and maintenance. These discharges appear in the measurement circuit as very narrow current pulses of some nanoseconds. Therefore, discharge pulse detection is a particularly difficult problem, especially because they are superposed on the high voltage waveforms that cause th...

Microwave assisted digestion coupled with inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry for determining element concentrations in halophytes

Introduction: This study was carried out to determine elements (Li, Na, K, Mg, Ca, Ba, B, Al, Si, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Se, Ag and P) in the Suaeda vermiculata (S. vermiculata) and Suaeda aegyptiaca (S. aegyptiaca) in three different regions of Southern Iran using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) after microwave-assisted acid digestion. Materials and ...
